Yellow Door is a young design practice spearheaded by Joshua John and Juhi Patel, dedicated to infusing spaces with an Indian contemporary ethos. Our fundamental design philosophy revolves around the meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that each aspect of our creations is tailored to the specific needs and desires of our clients while upholding the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
At Yellow Door, our passion for design excellence drives us to push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, ensuring that each project we undertake is a true reflection of our commitment to crafting timeless and inspiring spaces.
Central to our approach is the integration of natural light as a key element in enhancing the ambiance and well-being within our spaces. We understand the profound impact that sunlight can have on the atmosphere of a room, and we strive to harness its beauty and warmth in our designs.
We firmly believe in the importance of considering site context and climate sensitivity in our architectural endeavors. By deeply understanding the surroundings and responding thoughtfully to local climatic conditions, we ensure that our designs seamlessly blend with the natural environment, creating spaces that feel inherently connected to their surroundings.
Our collaborative approach lies at the heart of our practice. We work closely with our clients and collaborators, engaging in a hands-on manner to customize solutions that not only meet but exceed expectations. This collaborative spirit allows us to create spaces that truly resonate with those who inhabit them.
Furthermore, we adopt a holistic design perspective that transcends traditional disciplinary boundaries. Blurring the lines between architecture, interior design, landscape, furniture, and lighting, we aim to create cohesive and harmonious spaces that enrich the lives of our clients.
